About 250 acedemician from Bosphorus University made statement for METU.

' At 18th of October, friday night; Ankara Metropolitan Municipality's crew entered METU forest for raping trees. We think, its unacceptable and we condemn certainly.
If you intruded university campus at midnight for cutting more than 3000 trees, also without notice  that would be extrajudicial and nonethical act. And also while this prject hasn't accepted yet.'
