While police detained artist Barış Atay and 7 individuals for their “connection with Redhack” in Istanbul, the toll exceeded 10 along with other detainees across Turkey. Suspects have been ordered to make a statement in Cybercrime Police Headquarters in Ankara.  “8 detainees have been transferred to Cybercrime Police Headquarters in Istanbul, advocate Efkan Bolaç told bianet.  “I was able to meet with Atay after his detention. He is doing fine. But he has no idea why he was detained. #Turkey "A criminal court in western province of Manisa's Turgutlu district has sentenced five people to a  total of 11  years and 20 days in prison for allegedly insulting Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip #Erdoğan  during a protest demo  condemning the #Roboski massacre in which Turkish warplanes killed 34 civilians  mostly children, in the village of  Roboski, in Şırnak's Uludere district on 28 December 2011.  The court  ruled  the sentence following a hearing, rejecting the  lawyers' demand in the scope of freedom of expression  according to a report by DIHA (Dicle News Agency).The five  citizens are accused of chanting the slogan  “factious Erdoğan”." Turkish Prime Minister Erdoğan used this sentence when he talked about 'education problem'. Today is 90th anniversary of Republic Day for Turkey.  As you know, AKP government forbitted celebrations for national holidays in stadiums. So, people celebrated in streets and squares. And today government try to restrain organizations and use tear gas in Taksim. This situation should be really silly for 'normal people' who live in Turkey.  How could it be possible to forbit something about your national value?

About 250 acedemician from Bosphorus University made statement for METU. ' At 18th of October, friday night; Ankara Metropolitan Municipality's crew entered METU forest for raping trees. We think, its unacceptable and we condemn certainly. If you intruded university campus at midnight for cutting more than 3000 trees, also without notice  that would be extrajudicial and nonethical act. And also while this prject hasn't accepted yet.'

Prime minister Erdogan made a statement about the main reason of pretests(METU, Gezi Park and 3rd Bridge). About tree massacre. ' Road is the civilization. METU(Middle East Technical University) Massacre; is a attack to city, people and life. 18 Oct.  Friday night (religious holiday); there was a massacre in Ankara by Ankara Metropolitan Municipality with tens of trucks, heavy equipments and attendants. They killed more than 3000 trees from late night till  early morning. Today at about 13:00, Yeldegirmeni Solidarity made  forum with 40 students from Amsterdam Scoll of Art. But police raided with 10 police car to Yeldegirmeni Solidarity's Street House. I wonder why police raid with 10 police car also with no reason. I think they really afraid of us. Anyway forum delayed at 18:00.

Today Mr.Erdoğan explained their own democracy project. It including almost about every topic in Turkey. Let me try to translate some topics from this 'democracy box' speech. Hello friends! Yesterday, people met in Kadikoy for 'Come in September' Festival. Many singers and music groups sang for martyr of Gezi. It was really so crowded.  Fest started at 15:00 and finished 21:00. About 15-30 min. later police attacked with tear gas to people for no reason.  People just cleaned festival area.  After this attack people run to kadikoy streets . Police attacked getting harder si they shooting plastic bullet from very close distance.  The high-velocity bullets release an irritant powder on impact.

Today 4 or 5 buses which are full of police passed to asian side from european side. But we made joke to them and we didnt meet for protest. And they spend petrol recklessly (:.so they caught people to arrested whose apperance werent  like by them. This is really stupidly and arbitrary. Now at 23:30 all people in Istanbul who support this resistance we are going to react with pots and pans from windows for protest.

Still fighting with police right now. Today they prefer rubber bullet more than tear gas. I think their gas stock is getting less. Many people arrested while they were beating by police like a devil. Every street in kadikoy, every old aunt and uncle are helping us to hide in their flat. Every apartment's door is open for chapulers. Now many chapulers are hiding and relaxing at flat but police continue attack to empty streets. And many streets are full of gas. But we know its their strategy to make belive that police is right. Today was 2nd of July.  20 years ago, artists and intellectual people invited to Madımak Otel from Sivas's governer.A group of hardcore fasists killed to that people with setting on fire. AKP government gave important positions to killers' lawyers (about 24 lawyers). Today 02.07 at Kadıköy  10thousand people met for Sivas Massacre's aniversary.  Many poeple screamed like one heart  'These people who built AKP,before they burned our intellectual people in Madımak Otel at Sivas.'  I was there and there was fucking crowded. Actually I visited Istanbul, but the really first overwhelming moment concerning the system for me was in Ankara, where it opened my eyes and I could see turkish people and structures differently. Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the father of the turks after the ottoman empire. He founded the turkish republic and made amazing reforms in almost every kind we can imagine. Women rights, religion (secularism), education, language, alphabet,... Under the influence of European humanism, and "Aufklärung" - which had never been possible in certain islamic countries, he built up a proud, new and advanced country. An openminded democracy instead of violent Sultanism in between of countries which still lived in this kind of system.  After 1. world war lots of things changed and so a lot of politicians felt betrayed and didn´t want to continue the development, introduced by him.  Now, prime minister Erdogan seems to have the wish to be a new Sultan and with the usual nepotism he obviou...
